I pulled out my credit card (this was and emergency, after all) and handed it to the lady. "Or is this a cash place?" She smiled. "I may sell antiques, but my shop isn't one." She swiped the card, and gave me the necklace, placed in an intricately carved wooden case. "Thank you," I said, and practically ran back to the ice cream parlour. I just hoped Perry would like it.
-
(First you, then Bianca. >:( Like I told her: Do I need to call my mom (Demeter) down from Olympus to force-feed you cereal?!)
-
(Lexi, I'm gonna post the same thing I did for Sage. YOU LEAVE ME NO CHOICE!
Me: MOM!
Demeter: Yes, dear?
Me: I think my friend might need some cereal. Could you spare a bowl?
Demeter: *beams* Of course dear! There's no need to ask.
Me: Thanks, Mom. I'll take care of it.
Demeter: And here's a bowl for you as well.
Me: *groans softly* Okay, Mom. Thanks.
Demeter: You are welcome, dear. Just call when you need more cereal.
Me: Okay, Mom. Bye now.
Demeter: *leaves*
*tosses the bowl of cereal to you* EAT!) -
(I know you're on here, Lexi. Don't make me call my mom in here again!)
-
(SORRY!)
-
Let me guess, the cereal's disgusting? No offense to your mother or anything...
-
(No, it's just her usuall thing. She thinks everyone should eat it...all the time. She gives Frosted Flakes on her good days. None taken, it's usually a little bland. Just flakes and granola clumps.)
I see Perry sitting in a chair outside the ice cram shop, and I grinned. "Hey!" I called to her. -
(eats granola clumps. I like them)
I beamed at Michael. "Check out my car!!" I said ecstatically, gesturing to a beautiful blue Nissan-Altima. -
I stare at the beautiful blue creation. "Wow," I manage. "And how much was it?"
-
I grimaced "Five thousand pounds," I said. "But the original price was 1,000 more."
-
I whistle. "Good thing you got the price down. Makes what I got seem insignificant."
-
I narrowed my eyes in confusion. "What did you get?" If you mean jobs... having a job is far better than cars.
-
I shrugged. "Well, first I went to a recording studio, and the owner said that we could come in tomorrow afternoon, sing an origional or one of our own, and he pays us depending on how well we sing and how many hours we're there." I smile a bit. "It's not really a job, but close enough, right?"
-
I smiled. "That sounds awesome, Michael. How about we treat ourselves to some ice cream?"
-
I nod. "Yeah, ice cream sounds really good right now. Then, I want to show you something I found while I was out."
