He followed her into the building. If he could keep her away for a little while, they could continue undisturbed. And if she was there for the meeting, she shouldn't have run.
-
She raced to the roof and began jumping from roof to roof, silent as a cat. She had no idea who he was, but he had seen her, and if he was a "bad" guy, she was not going to lead him straight to the meeting.
-
He made it to the roof, and watched her for a moment. Damn, how can she do that? "Hey," he called out to her.
-
He called to her while she was in mid-air. She landed, digging her heels into the roof, stopping herself. She stood up. "Hey."
-
"Why are you in such a hurry?" He walked to the edge of the building and sat down.
-
She did the same and crossed her arms. "Well, I don't really enjoy people following me..." Ugh, she hated talking.
-
"The only reason I followed you was because you ran." He smirked.
-
She stared at the ground. "I see. Well, perhaps I should have started walking away then."
-
"Definitely. But then I would've caught you sooner and we wouldn't be having this lovely conversation up here." He picked up a rock off of his roof.
-
She kept staring at the ground. She smirked. "Lovely?"
-
"Yes, because I absolutely love talking to random strangers on roofs." He dropped it, lazily kicking it. It hit a window on the building in front of him, cracking the glass.
-
She chuckled. "Something you do often?"
-
He shrugged. "When I'm in the mood."
-
She nodded, beginning to worry about the meeting. "Sounds like a nice way to pass time."
-
I don't mind if I miss tonight's meeting... I can get a recap later... "Yeah, it is. Don't you want to just sit here all night and yell at each other?"
