Donovan nodded. "Do you at least have a place to live?"

"Yes, it's upstairs." Cameron pointed at the fire escape stairs up to the top floor. "It's just a small room for us to sleep in, next door to the showers."

"Well, I have a house that only has me and my dog living in it. You'd be welcome to stay there if you ever desired."

He blinked, almost confused by the offer. "I can't just leave. They'll think I tried to escape again and they'll get pissed. But thank you anyways, maybe sometime. It sounds nice and quiet..."

Donovan nodded. "Well, just keep in mind the offer is out there," he said with a smile.

"Okay..." He looked away softly, turning back to the fire exit. "I have to go. Bye Donovan..."

"Goodbye, Cameron." Donovan said waving.

Cameron climbed in through the window, going through the room and into the bathroom. He started to take his makeup off, thinking about what Donovan had said.

Donovan went back home. When he walked through the front door, his dog, a pit bull, greeted him. Donovan smiled. "If we're lucky, Cocoa, we may have a new resident at the house."

I could leave...but they'd go looking for me. Can I really trust this guy that I just met? What if he's just another creep? He stepped into the shower, starting to get clean. It could be my only chance to get out of here. I can hold my own anyways. Maybe I could go...

Cameron got out of the shower, drying off and putting on some normal clothes. It felt nice to be covered. It was already dark out, but the other dancers hadn't gone upstairs yet. Now's my chance... He walked to the window again. Wait...I don't even know where I'm supposed to go... -
Donovan sat down at the table with his meal, alone. He sighed sadly. This house was just too lonely.
