Donovan raised an eyebrow. "You dont have a choice?"

"Whatever, it doesn't concern you." Cameron turned away, walking down the alley again.

Donovan was still curious but wasn't sure if he should go after the guy or just go home. He stood there.

He sighed, couldn't help thinking that telling someone may help his situation. "I was kidnapped...when I was 14, and brought here to work. I didn't choose this life on my own."

Donovan was shocked. "That's horrible."

Cameron shrugged. "I've gotten used to it, for a while at least, but now they're putting more pressure on me to become a prostitute..." He paused, making a sound like a chuckle but it wasn't happy. "No doubt they'll probably put me for sell in an auction soon, since I'm their 'prized virgin' after all."

"You shouldn't be forced to do something you don't want to do.."

"That would be ideal, of course, but in this business life for us 'whores' isn't fair. We don't get much of a choice in anything." He held his robe around him tight. "Why do you care, anyway? You're just like the rest of my customers..."

Donovan shrugged. "It's just not right. And I mean, I liked your performance, so I kinda care about your well-being now.."

"There's not really anything you can do though. I'm not worth it anyway." Cameron sighed.

"You're right, there probably is nothing I can do, but everybody is worth something."

"I suppose I'll find out what I'm worth when the auction comes in." He pushed back some hair off his own face. "What's your name?"

"Donovan. And I'm pretty sure your real name isn't Sapphire."

"How'd ya guess?" He made that same pained chuckle again. "I'm Cameron..."

Donovan smiled. "Nice to meet you, Cameron."
