The door opens when a teacher walks in. "Both of you detention after school", he says strictly. I say with an attitude, "Why?". He gets louder, "For not being in class and for being in a classroom unattended alone". "That's stupid", I say rolling my eyes.

"Excuse me, sir..." With the assertiveness and professional attitude of a class president, William began to talk their way out of detention.

I look at you. "What are you doing", I whisper.

He didn't respond to her, still working his way out of it with the teacher.

I just stand there annoyed a little.

Eventually, the teacher left, satisfied. He looked at her.

I look at him smiling "Well well well, you got us out of having detention"
