Why is everyone so utterly depressed? All of them have quite relatable situations, and they're complaining and crying about it? Don't they know there are people with worse as they type out their words of sorrow, on the internet if all places. Some people live on the streets, and they'd kill to have a life like half the people on that site...Somr people don't have a homr, and sometimes all they eat is a slice of bread to keep them satisfied the whole day. Don't they know that? They could be that person for a day, and be begging uncontrollably to switch back to the "f---ed up" life they suppposedly have. Can't they see there are people with worse? I have Insertional Achilles Tendonitis, no soccer, no gym, no running...walking is a bother. But I'm still happy...I'm smiling....Why don't they at least try.....? It bothers me, really, that they don't try to be happy..

I agree with you that people have it worse, but depression doesn't work like that. It's a true condition that often times isn't dependent upon your environment, but things you've experienced and the internal battle you face. I always try to be happy and positive, but in unexpected bursts I do get what I call waves of depression. Lower serotonin is a biological indicator of depression.
Just my 2 cents as a healing bipolar depressive. xP -
@Dark: ...Hm?....
I think Michael was right... -
@Cherry: Well, I guess his point was all these people are trying to act depressed. ._.
