"That one, right there," Kumiko said, pointing to the one that had a large orange tree at the front. "There."

He nodded and pulled in there, parking so Kumiko could get out. "It was nice meeting you today, Kumiko," He said, smiling lightly.

"Oh, yeah.. It was very nice meeting you too, Roka," he said, his cheeks darkening. He felt strange getting out of the car, so he lingered for a few moments.

The rain started to come down, pretty hard. He looked at the clock. "Aw, I have to go across town, rain has great timing..."

"Oh, I'm sorry. I'll get going now," he said softly. Before he got out of the car, he waved at him. "By, Roka. See you at work tomorrow, okay?"

He nodded, waving goodbye with a smile. "Yeah, I'll see you then." After making sure Kumiko got in okay, he pulled away, driving back to his place.

Kumiko rushed into the house to get away from the cold and wetness of the outside. Once he was back in, he felt his cheeks get hot again. "Dammit.." he mumbled softly to himself.

Roka sighed, already missing the presence of his new friend. She's so cute, personality and all. For once I actually can't wait for work in the morning... He pulled into his driveway and ran up to his porch, going inside.

At home, he took a shower and cooked dinner. He could have eaten leftovers, but he liked fresh food better. Kumiko also liked it when his family wasn't out when he was home, but that was something he couldn't really change. "Oh well, guess I'm not alone at work anymore.."

Roka showered, and made a microwave meal since he was a bit tired. He eventually curled up on the couch to watch a movie, and managed to fall asleep. He dreamed of lavender hair and the person it belonged to.

When Kumiko finished eating, he cleaned the dishes and cleaned up a bit. He brushed his teeth and quickly went to his room to sleep. His sleep was blank, but he could feel a warmth next to him for some reason. -
I know. xD I felt a bit corny writing that last part.
He woke up in the morning, noticing he fell asleep on the couch. "Hm... did I dream...?" He got up and cleaned up the place, then went to the bathroom to get ready for work. -
Pff we need corniness in our lives. xD
Kumiko woke up later than usual, and groaned softly to himself when he saw the time. "Damn.." he mumbled. The boy grabbed his phone and cleaned up his room a bit, then himself in the bathroom. Afterwards he went outside to walk to work. The ground was wet from last night's rain, but it wasn't anything he couldn't get through. -
Indeed we do~. ^^ Corn is good.
Roka wondered if Kumiko would be able to get a ride, so decided to head out early and go toward her neighborhood. When he saw her walking, he smiled and pulled up, rolling the window down. "Hey, need a ride?" -
Maize. x3 Very good.
Kumiko was shocked to see that Roka had decided to go and pick him up. His cheeks turned red and he only nodded. "Sure.. thank you, Roka."
