Pokimon Newbiei know that it's been years since the cold war and the soviet union broke up, but it doesn't seem we're allies either. do you think russia and america could become allies someday?

We are kind of Allies. Our relationship has been a little strained since Putin came in though, because they've reverted back to authoritarianism under his leadership. On top of that, they have a huge army and a lot of nukes. And more recently, they've been giving weapons to the Syrian government. Personally I don't think there is any reason we can't get along with them.

As Tongue said, it is a strained relationship. We keep doing things to make them angry, and vice versa. All in all, though, I believe right now we are allies.
