Disney Cinderella:A twist on a tale

This story is all about my twist on the Disney version of Cinderella,a beloved classic fairytale. I added some new characters,and may even include more in the future,based on your positive comments. Please review the story if you like it,and don’t forget to check out part two of my story!

I have no warnings in particular,but if you have any issues with this story,please politely ask me in the comments. I will try to fix the story and do the best I can so everyone can equally enjoy the story,without changing it too much. Enjoy!

  1. Emily ran through the corridors and entered the room. Jake,Phillip,and Tom(her boyfriend) all stared at her curiously. Before she could explain,a beautiful woman walked in. It was Princess Melody,the castle’s beloved,graceful princess,and also the best friend of Cinderella. “Cinderella is currently living as a servant in her own house down the street. Her parents both passed away and her stepmother and stepsisters have forced her to become their slave,”She explained calmly yet seeming concerned for her friend. Emily gasped. “Oh no!”She exclaimed in a panic.
  2. Princess Melody escorted Emily and her friends towards Cinderella’s house. Emily knocked on the door furiously. The door opened,revealing a dark woman with grey hair,wearing a black dress. She looked like a widow. Emily guessed this was the stepmother based on her appearance. “Let Cindy go right now!”Emily demanded angrily. The woman who was Velda just laughed. “How can you defeat me,Velda Tremaine,head of the household?”The wicked stepmother cackled. “So you are Velda!”Emily exclaimed,firmly glaring at her. Velda nodded solemnly,still smirking cruelly.
  3. “I am Cinderella,”A familiar voice echoed confidently and bravely behind them. “Did you hear that? I think it belongs to our friend!”Jake pointed out. Velda turned around,surprised. “Servant girl?”She laughed ridiculously. “Don’t you dare treat her like one!”Princess Melody defended. Emily ran to Cinderella. “Cindy! My girl! I’m so glad to see you!”She laughed,instantly feeling more cheerful and confident. Cinderella laughed awkwardly,and shrugged. “I wonder if you are satisfied with all this harsh treatment,most likely not,”Princess Melody mused. Cinderella laughed again.

So Emily,her friends,and Princess Melody decided to stay for a night at Cinderella’s house,plotting to save Cinderella from her evil stepmother. “This is Anastasia and Drizella Tremaine,my daughters,”Velda introduced the next morning. The girls bowed clumsily and rather too arrogantly. Princess Melody scoffed,while Cinderella sighed. Emily turned away,annoyed,and the three boys(Jake,Phillip,and Tom) closed their eyes reluctant to see the stepsisters’ vain expressions. Anastasia was a plain redhead,while Drizella was a brunette.
  5. Emily’s father,a wealthy merchant and Duke(who worked for Princess Melody’s family),was a friendly and humble man named Edward. He was also incredibly charismatic and handsome,which had a certain effect on others. Edward was also quite empathetic,so when he figured out that Emily had left to go visit and stay at Cinderella’s house,he was worried as he was sometimes overprotective of his daughter. So he threw on his jacket,grabbed his sneakers and trudged outside onto the chilly streets. Edward arrived at Cinderella’s house later,only to realise that Emily,the boys,and Princess Melody were leaving after having breakfast. “I had a sleepover last night,and we were planning to help Cinderella escape from her chores,”Emily explained cheerfully. Edward shook his head dismissively,happy to have Emily home,and not interested in anything else,especially the details of the sleepover.
  6. After returning to the castle with her friends and the Princess,Emily went to her chamber and schemed. Finally,she came up with a good idea. Since Jake was the only one single(Phillip had met a girl named Lisa and Tom was her boyfriend),Emily decided it would be best to send out an invitation to encourage people to come and dance with Jake. Suddenly,it struck her. Emily could do what she could,and she could even host a royal ball at the castle tonight! Everything seemed perfect,and Emily went to tell everyone else her idea,and they liked it well,even Jake himself praised her for her genius mind,and said he couldn’t wait for the lucky girl. Perhaps she would be no other than…Cinderella herself.
