Beautiful Secrets Part 4

Hola! So welcome to Part 4 of the new series Beautiful Secrets. I've been excruciatingly busy with school but it's finally Winter Break so that means I have time to make these! *crowd applause*

Descriptions of the guys will be revealed when the last mystery guy is, so for now just use the descriptions I've put throughout the parts that are out already. Thank you. (:

Our "When Will I Die" Quiz?

  1. Alex smiled and handed my bag to me. "Thanks." I replied, his voice sending electricity through my body. "It's safe to talk to you now, right?" He asked now that we were outside and walking to the front gates of the school. I nodded and said, "When I meant don't talk to me for the rest of the period I didn't mean it literally." "It sounded literal to me." He said, keeping his eyes straight ahead. "So you wanted me to talk to you?" "Well yeah. I kind of like your company." I admitted to him. He smiled and said, "Good, because we're going to be sticking together for a long time."
  2. We reached the front and I searched for my dad's white BMW that my Aunt Lisa borrowed while he was away on the business trip. I heard a car honk and found my Aunt Lisa there waving. Alex and I approached the car and got in; me taking the passenger seat while Alex went in the back. Aunt Lisa gave me a hug and beamed. "You've grown up so much!" She turned to Alex, "You must be Alex! You are one handsome young man. I wish I had one of you back when I was a teenager. My niece here is going to have a nice 4 months." She said with a wink. I rolled my eyes and groaned while Alex just laughed. I put the palm of my hand to my forehead and turned on the radio where Someone Like You by Adele was playing. I closed my eyes for a while because my head started hurting. Aunt Lisa though. Did she really have to say that? She kept babbling on about her trip while I pretended I was listening. No, I don't want to hear about how the airlines refused to give you any tampons and I doubt Alex did either. Do you see what I mean by calling her embarrassing? Holy Mother of God, help me.
  3. We drove onto the driveway of my house and I got out and went inside. I put my stuff upstairs and did my normal routine. Change into my pajamas, put my hair up, and go pee. I washed my hands, dried them and then went downstairs to get something to eat. Alex was sitting there awkwardly while Aunt Lisa was singing the chorus of Someone Like You...and failing horribly. "I'll save you from this misery and show you the guest room." I said, grabbing his hand and leading him upstairs. I actually had an urge to lead him to my room instead, but I shrugged it off and opened the door to the guest room. On the bed was his suitcases. "Your parents showed me it already." He said, now holding on to my hand. I let go and asked, "Why didn't you tell me before? I could have been eating by now." "Because you took hold of my hand and I didn't want you to let go." He replied with a smile. He entered the room and took hold of the door knob. "I'm going to change now. Try not to peek." And with that, he closed the door, leaving me standing there speechless. He was so cute; and his sweet talk was getting to me. I slowly walked back downstairs and poked around in the pantry and the fridge. "What's there to eat?" I asked Aunt Lisa, whom was now watching the latest episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. "I'm getting some take-out tonight so for now just microwave yourself a Hot Pocket."
  4. I opened the freezer and found an unopened box of Hot Pockets sitting there. I ripped open the box and grabbed the one with the cheese and pepperoni in it and warmed it up for one and a half minutes. As I was waiting for my Hot Pocket to be done, I got myself a glass of ice cold water and sat down at the table, just chilling. I heard Alex come downstairs and he joined me in the kitchen. He was wearing a pair of navy blue basketball shorts and a fitted black tank top/undershirt. His collar bone was sticking out and his lean muscles were whispering, 'touch me, feel me, you know you want to.' I shook that thought out of my head and took a sip of water. I looked around and saw Alex with my Hot Pocket in his hands. "That's mine!" I said, grabbing for it. "I know, jeez. It was done so I took it out for you so I could warm up my own, Jesus. Take a chill pill." He said, handing over my food with a smirk. "And you say I assume too much."
  5. I felt like an idiot; and he was using my own words against me which made it even worse. "Sorry." I said. "No worries." Alex said, putting his Hot Pocket into the microwave and setting the time. I got my Hot Pocket from the little box container and took a small bite since it was really hot. Alex took a seat across from me and just watched me eat until the microwave beeped. He got up, took his Hot Pocket from the microwave, got a glass of water, and took his seat back across from me. I heard the t.v shut off and Aunt Lisa winked at me as she headed upstairs. Normal guardians wouldn't allow me with a guy, but Aunt Lisa is different. She actually WANTS me to have a boyfriend. She complains about it all the time. Alex took a bite of his Hot Pocket and almost spit it out. "IT'S SO HOT!" He yelled, fanning the inside of his mouth with his hand. I started laughing and he sipped some water and swallowed it. "It's not funny. I could have died." He said with another shot of water. I made a face at him as I said, "Yeah, millions of people die from Hot Pocket burns on their tongues." Alex sarcastically smiled and said, "I found out at school that we don't have all seven periods every day. Tuesdays and Thursdays are periods 1,3,5, and 7 while Wednesdays and Fridays are periods 2,4,6, and 7." I took a bite of the pizza. "Thanks for telling me." He nodded and then took out a piece of paper from his pocket. He unfolded it and gave it to me. "I finished it. It's not the best, but I hope you approve." It was a picture of me. It's remarkable how he got every little detail right. My face shape, my hair line, even my nose. Everything. It was absolutely amazing. "I definitely approve. Don't expect the same results from my picture though. Just saying." I took my final bite from my Hot Pocket and threw away the wrapper. "I'm going upstairs to do my homework. Make yourself at home." I said. "I'll definitely see you around, princess." I was climbing up the stairs when he said that and it made me turn around. He had on a confident smile so I just turned back around instead of making another remark. Alex was so hard to read. One minute he's this arrogant jerk and then the next he's the sweetest guy in the world.
  6. I closed the door behind me and jumped down on my bed, flustered and tired. I lay there for about 5 minutes until I start my homework. I only had homework for math and French, so it wasn't going to take that long: 45 minutes at the least. I opened my math book, which Aunt Lisa got while I was at school, and breezed through the assignment and went on to French. We had a worksheet about french phrases. There were 2 columns, one was a french phrase while the other was a fill-in-the-blank. I had no idea what I was doing. So I went downstairs with my worksheet and sought out help with Aunt Lisa. Alex wasn't there anymore, so I assumed he was in his room. "Hey, Aunt Lisa? I don't understand my French homework." I handed my paper over to her and she sighed. "You're not going to get any help from me. I have no idea what this says. Don't you pay attention in class?" She flipped through the channels and stopped at My Fair Wedding With David Tutera. I walked back upstairs and then stood at the foot of the door of Alex's bedroom. Maybe he could help me.
  7. I knocked on the door and heard Alex on the other side say, "Come in!" The door opened with a slight creak and I saw Alex laying there in his bed. Once he saw me he shot up into a sitting position and fixed his hair. What a cutie. "Can you help me with my french homework?" I asked him, walking into the room and sitting down next to him on the bed. He turned his body towards me so that our knees touched. "Hm, I don't know. I don't take French, I take Spanish," He said looking me square in the eye, "But I can take a look." I handed him the paper and felt a flutter in my stomach. "The first phrase means I love you." He said. "Je'taime? How did you know that?" I asked, slightly impressed. "I dated a French girl once. Don't ask." He replied looking over the next phrase. I felt kind of jealous. I have no idea why, but I did. "Number 5 means in the sky. The rest, I don't know. Just do what I do with my Spanish homework, use Google Translator." He suggested with a smile and pulling out his laptop. He handed the laptop to me, and I spread my body across his bed so that I was lying down on my tummy. Alex joined me, his shoulders touching mine. The butterflies in my stomach were flying around like crazy and my cheeks were flushed red. I figured I was going to be there for a while since there were 30 phrases to decipher, so I opened another tab on YouTube so that I could listen to music at the same time. I typed in New Heights by the Peaches and started working on my worksheet while Alex just watched.
  8. "You could have told me April was Zac's girlfriend." I said, breaking the silence. "April's his girlfriend?" He asked with a chuckle, "What a coincidence. He seems rather interested in you, don't you think?" "No. I mean, he can't be. But in P.E I was supposed to kick the ball out since we were playing soccer and I tripped on it and accidentally pulled Zac down with me and I ended up on top of him." I said, keeping my eyes locked on the monitor. "How did you trip on the ball?" Alex asked with a grin. Yeah, not the reaction I was hoping for. "Don't even ask. But luckily April didn't see. I'm trying to avoid Zac now. April's like my only friend and I don't want to mess things up with her." "I'm not considered your friend?" Alex asked. "I don't know. Do you consider me as your friend?" I responded. "Of course I do." Another awkward silence.
  9. I finished up my worksheet and sat up. "Thanks, Alex." I said to him as I stood up from the bed. "Yeah, no problem." He got up aswell and was literally 5 inches away from me. He was taller than ,e. so I had to tilt my head up a little while he had to look down. I thought we would make a cute couple if you asked me. "Well...I'll see you at dinner." I said. I never thought I'd say that to a guy. Especially one that was practically living with me. He opened the door for me on my way out and did a cute little wave as he closed the door. I made my way back to my room and all I could think about was Alex. I put my paper back in my binder and put my iPod on shuffle. Material Girl by The Weeknd was playing, and it totally sent good vibes though me, so I dozed off. "Hey, wake up." Someone said, poking me in the stomach. I fluttered my eyes open and saw Aunt Lisa there. "What do you want from Panda Express?" She asked me. "Um, get me some fried rice and orange chicken." I responded in my sleepy voice and a yawn. "Okay, well I'm going to get some food and then I'm going to Albertsons to get some groceries. You and Alex are going to be ALONE. Try making a move. But don't do IT, okay?" She said with a big smile. I rolled my eyes. What kind of parental guardian is this?
  10. I just sat there in my bed while Aunt Lisa closed my bedroom door. A few minutes later I heard the garage open and then close. I went downstairs and saw Alex there sitting on the couch watching re-runs of Teen Titans. I was about to sit down next to him when I heard the doorbell ring. "I GOT IT!" Alez yelled, scrambling to his feet. "No, I want to get it!" I screamed after him. We were pretty much racing to the front door and he got there before me so he opened the door while I stood there behind him. To my surprise, it was Sam. He was standing there all awkwardly. "Oh hi. Um, I can leave if I was interrupting something. Boyfriend?" He asked. Before Alex could answer, I shoved him to the side and replied, "No he's not my boyfriend. Our parents are on a business trip and he has to stay with me. No offense or anything, but how do you know where I live?" Sam smiled and said, "I actually live in this neighborhood. I saw you walk into your house while I was walking to school." He was blushing, and I couldn't help but smile at his adorableness. "And I just wanted to apologize about what Tara did to you. I already told her that nothing was going on between us and I also broke up with her. She was starting to become a really big pain anyways, so I'm actually relieved." "Thanks, Sam! I really appreciate it. And you don't have to apologize, really. It wasn't your fault." I said. "No problem. And I know it wasn't my fault. Part of me just felt like it needed to apologize because Tara was my girlfriend and then the other half just wanted an excuse to see you." I blushed. How could you not? "Aww, you're so sweet. I'd invite you in but my Aunt isn't here right now and I don't think I'm aloud to have any visitors. I'll see you tomorrow though!" I said to him with a smile. "Okay, well I'll see you tomorrow, bye." He replied, returning the smile and waving as I closed the front door.
  11. "He seems shy." Alex said. "He's just really sweet and nice. Unlike you." I said with some sarcasm. "Oh, okay. I see how it is." I started to walk away, my back facing Alex, when he came up and started tickling me from behind. I tried not to laugh, but I just couldn't resist. Tickles is like poison. "Stop!" I said in between laughs and gasping for air. He did, but his arms were around me; basically hugging me from behind. We were waddling to the couch and I fell onto it, him on top of me. He peered into me with those sparkly blue eyes and said, "I think I can be nice. And I'm pretty good at sweet talk. You of all people should know that." I tried to say something, but words couldn't come to me right now." Just kiss him! I kept saying that to myself but nothing happened. I could feel his heart beating. I think it was going to the rhythm of mine; which by the way was zooming at super sonic speed. He moved a piece of loose hair from my face and pressed his lips to my shoulder, then my neck, to my nose, and finally my forehead. No lip action whatsoever. I think he wanted me to make that move. To know if I was interested. The ball was in my court, but I didn't know what to do. I found my guts and I was about to kiss him when BOOM. The house phone rings.
