For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death. 11 For observe this very thing, that you sorrowed in a godly manner: What diligence it produced in you, what clearing of yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what vehement desire, what zeal, what vindication! In all things you proved yourselves to be clear in this matter.

- When we feel sad when we come to know what God wants from us we shouldnt feel like were tooo bad or too unrighteous because God loves all that accepts him into their life. The sadness we feel is there so that it can lead to us wanting to get to know God and not carrying on behind friends with the world and enemies to God. The guilt we feel ensures we do not go back to how we was or atleast makes it wayyy harder for us to go back to how we was because now we know God we dont want to disappoint him or anger him. We want to right our wrongs. you yourself know that the bible if you want to know what God says you just have to read your bible. Read it and try understand constantly what God says. No one comes to God perfect he wants us to have a broken heart so we can accept that ONLY he can truly save you and HE is all you need. Please brother or sister dont let your cross go. Most of the time Gods people fall because of lack of knowledge. Knowledge of God is part of your amour Ephesians 6 speaks on this. Knowing what God says protects you from a lot of things that come your way. If I didnt know the word of God by his grace and to the extent I do I wouldnt be able to share this message with you and if I saw something like this I wouldve been discouraged.
