Wolf Love Story: Part One

  1. You are a white wolf with a black paw, and lovely green eyes. You're name is Blizzard, got it? Because I don't want to keep calling you "_"! :3
  2. Okie! Also, this is for girls only, unless you're gay or bi! Sorry!
  3. You sat in your den, feeling the pass of the breeze as it brushed your pelt. In the warmth of the summer was always hard to take, especially when you couldn't find water. "It's not happening yet," You laughed in a mumble. Bear the Alpha, had just called a meeting before you had a chance to fall back asleep.
  4. You slowly rose, soon turning into a fast walk. *At the meeting* "Are all wolves here?" Bear hushed the gathering wolves. "Good. I called this meeting to gather a hunting party. Blizzard, Shadow, Ivy, myself, and Spruce will all be in the hunting party. We will track down the spring grass caribou we all love the taste of, and eat it for a meal." You nodded slightly, joining the hunting party formed.

  6. (If you chose Bear) You follow Bear into the undergrowth, the best place leading to caribou. Soon, you both caught a scent. "Be quiet," He urged you. "The caribou are feeding on the spring grass. I'll send you signals. Remember the training, okay?" You nodded, eager for the fresh, rich taste of spring caribou. That was the tastiest prey you could find for a wolf! Bear stalked through the grass, spying the caribou. In a few minutes, he sent you a signal. You plunged through the undergrowth, cornering a mother caribou. She was plump, probably just had given birth to her young. The mother caribou sent a cry for help, which only caused a stampede of startled caribou racing faintly away from danger, leaving the mother caribou for food. Bear launched himself onto the back of the caribou, bringing her down. Eventually, the mother caribou was dead. "Nice work," He grunted.
  7. (If you chose Shadow) Shadow almost immediately fell to the ground, following the scent trail. "Follow me," He signaled with a swish of his tail. You followed, starting to follow your nose as well. He explained on the way it was always best to have another wolf with you, since it usually made the chance for a successful hunt at a higher cause. "Stop," He urged. "I caught the scent trail!" To him, this was always a victory. He always was saying he just wanted to prove himself. "Let me have a smell..." You whispered, following his eye. You took a deep smell, breathing in the fresh scent of spring caribou. "I can't wait!" You yipped excitedly. "But we must be quiet, Blizzard! And we need a plan, too!" Calming yourself of your excitement, you both set up a plan silently. "Okay," He brushed your pelt softly. "Let's go." You followed him to the place where the caribou stood. He signaled you to silently pad to the opposite side to corner the caribou. You spotted an elderly rather fat caribou. It seemed slower than its herd. Following Shadow's signal, you both shot out from the undergrowth, snarling as you cornered the elderly caribou. You leaped onto the caribou's back, giving a hard jolt as you snapped its neck. Lifeless, the caribou collapsed. "Wow, good job!" Shadow congratulated.
  8. (If you chose Spruce) Spruce gently nudged you. "Alright," He gestured. "Let's go find some caribou." You nodded before he led you to a clearing. "This is always where we start," He explained, "always start in the clearings! They like to run through here often, since there's really nice grass here. Ready, Blizzard?" You nodded, thinking of the delicious spring caribou meat... He lightly licked your shoulder, leading you to a hoofprint. "You can find the caribou by both their hooves, and their scent." You nodded once again. He fell to the ground, sniffing for any signs of fresh hoofprints. "These are fresh!" He mumbled, continuing his work. You dropped to the ground now, too, following the scent trail excitedly. "Okay," You sighed in relief. "You're right. It's fresh, and I found the scent trail. It's leading to the spring water lake, where the grass is the richest of the rich, and the greenest of the green." "That's great! Great job!" "Thank you," He and you both followed the scent trail. Soon, you both arrived at the spring water lake. Many caribou were there, but a plump caribou stood out more than the rest. Waiting for the perfect time, you then plunged through the long grass, onto the back of the caribou. The rest of the startled caribou scattered, like rats in a rat nest. You dug into its flesh, causing it to scream wildly. The blood gushed out quickly. Swiftly, Spruce joined in the fight. He bit its throat, and within only minutes, it was lifeless. "Great work!" Spruce praised, licking your ear gently.
  9. *Back to pack territory* You proudly entered into your pack's territory with both a successful hunt, and your partner. You couldn't wait to get that meat into your stomach!
  10. "A successful hunt, eh? How unusual!" Your sister, Sap, teased. "Enough talk. Let's eat!"
  11. *After the meal* You had just finished the meal when Shadow comes up to you. "Blizzard, could you come with me, please?" He asked. Your reply:
