  2. LET THE FUN BEGIN: PROLOGUE THE GIRL WRAPS HER ARMS AROUND HER KNEES, her body trembling,tears streaming down her cheeks. The footsteps edges closer and closer,pacing back and forth in front of her secret hiding spot. She could still hear the men screaming for their lives, as whatever it was happened.
  3. She claps a hand over her mouth as a muffled sob leaks out. She turns her head to peek out the small crack in the wood. A pair of pants stands in front of her eye. Slowly, as if glancing around, the legs turns, heading for the door. The person walks out, the door closing shut. She waits for a few minutes, then emerges from her hiding place. No one is here. She leaps over the bar,racing for the door. She is free, her heart pounding in her fragile chest. She is free.
  4. She dashes, tripping over a chair. Her knees scrap into the wood. 'Sh**! That hurt!'she thinks. "Ow,"she mutters out loud, sitting up. Then she cries out. A black vine is wrapped around her ankle. This is what caused her to fall? She follows the vine's path, until she came face to face with a pair of eyes. She let out a grunt as she was lifted into the air. "Miss me, Ardira?" the person hisses softly, almost like a purr. She could only stare into those eyes. Evil eyes, black as death, as night. Something white flutters down. She thinks it is dust, but as she takes a closer look,it is snow. Snow gently drifts from the ceiling. 'The Cold...' Ardira tore her eyes away from its, looking for her mother. She meets her mother's dull, lifeless eyes. "Mama, don't worry. I'm coming..." she says. Ardira turns her head back to it. "The Cold will be defeated,"she says in a loud, firm voice. "Oh, but my dear Ardira... You are wrong... The Cold will always get what it wants," it purrs, reaching out to touch her hair strand that is in front of her face. "Close your eyes, my darlin'. It'll be over quick. I promise." Ardira closes her eyes. She can feel the soft brush of lips against hers, then a cold draft of air. She shivers. "Ardira...LOOK AT ME!!!!!!" it shrieks in a guttural voice. Her eyes shoot open, then widen. It was-- Oh,god... It was-- He snaps her neck, and drops her body to the floor. He bends over,watching as the girl's twelve-year old wide, innocent eyes turns dull and lifeless. He straightens, smiling at the work he's done. Then he turns, walking out. The door closes with a slight click.
