Olsson's Universe: Survival Skills Test

Hey there, Nora here! I am very sorry for not realizing that "The Verse" isn't real. Olsson? Spreading rumors? That's not the right thing to do. Anyway, while "The Verse" is definitely not a real and never will be, Matt Olsson has recently finished making five characters. This test is designed to see if you are going to be able to survive Olsson's universe.

"Olsson's universe" isn't a show. It's not a narrative. At this point in time, Olsson has stated that this is just creating five very frustrating and one-dimensional characters for fun and letting them interact with each other. Are you able to survive this universe if you were hypothetically a new character??

Can you handle the fact that Andrew Zhu is best friends with Elegans?
- Yes.
- I may be able to handle it.
- No.
- Not necessarily.
Are you able to stay calm (because Anna Yu's comments) tend to be annoying?
- Yes.
- Maybe.
- I could, why do you ask?
- No/absolutely not/nah.
Can you handle Mel Grimson and his weird laughs?
- Yes.
- It depends. How loud/annoying are his laughs usually?
- No. I don't think I can bear his laughs.
- Not necessarily what I'm good for/not my strong suit.
Can you handle the fact that Lloyd Chan is easily enraged and if you do anything that is absurd or moronic, he'll yell and swear at you. Do you think you can handle that?
- Yes.
- Um, if this guy is going to yell at me or swear at me, even if I didn't do anything wrong, no.
- I have a cat, but is he going to allow me to keep the cat at his house? idk ngl
- Since this guy hates Andrew Zhu's existence, it's quite plausible he'd hate mine so... no.
Can you accept Elegans's existence?
- Yes.
- Yes, I need to, because if I don't, he'd consider it to be discrimination.
- No. I am not used to seeing or hearing snakes play the trumpet and talk.
- No, obviously. What am I, a drug addict?
Can you accept the fact that Andrew Zhu frequently claims that he is uneducated/moronic?
- Why does he even do this? I mean, maybe?
- No. If he's just going to whine like a crybaby and try to evoke sympathy like that, not knowing he's going to fail on both counts, then no.

- No. At this point, he's just being annoying on purpose.
Can you accept the fact that if you are a new character, you'll have to stay in Santa Clara, CA 95051 (the one and only setting in Olsson's universe)?
- Yes.
- No.
- Does it mean that I can't go anywhere else?
- Probably not, I have a bad feeling about this. Santa Clara, CA 95051 is pretty far from where I live.
Can you handle the fact that Mel Grimson is intentionally trying to disrupt and distract you, regardless of the situation, date, week, year, how old he is, and whatever event is happening?
- No!
- I would tell him to stop, but we all know that that's not going to work.
- He is so annoying, I don't think I would necessarily "survive" this.
- Yes.
Can you handle Anna Yu's romantic comments?
- No.
- It really depends. How annoying are they and what is the level of severity we're talking about?
- I mean, if they're very over-the-top, then I'm probably going to be unable to, ngl.
- What? No. This girl is so--weird.
Can you handle Andrew Zhu's constant swearing?
- No.
- Nope! Too unexpected!
- It's way too much swearing and it's completely unnecessary.
- Is there a specific reason as to why he swears? If that's true in this case, I might as well at least ask him why.
Can you handle the fact that Lloyd Chan doesn't treat others the way they want to be treated (it's what it seems like)?
- No.
- He is breaking this rule.
- I don't know why he has so much pride in hating others' existences.
- Never, sorry if that upset you, Lloyd.
Can you survive random and unplanned "events" Lloyd Chan makes?
- No.
- No, because it's unpredictable (as a hypothetical new character who knows nothing about the 5).
- No, because Andrew might complain.
- Yes!
Final question: Can you handle the five characters as a whole or not?
- No.
- Never.
- Absolutely not.
- Yes.
