  1. You go up to the door to open it. But before you touch the handle it creaks open by itself. You step into a hallway and look around. There were doors to your left and a staircase to your right. Before you really notice anything the door behind you closes with a slam. You look back at the door but nothing was there. You turn back around and suddenly there is a man standing there. He’s kinda tall, wearing an old jacket, holding a pocket watch, and bore a creepy looking grin on his face.
  2. “Isn’t the bell working?” he asks accusingly. “No. I mean... I don’t know. The door was open so-”“-so you thought you could just walk right in.” he finishes. You don’t really know what to say to that. “That’s kind of how we deal with doors in America.” You joked. He didn’t smile. “Um... hi. I'm _____ _____.” You say extending a hand. He just held up his watch. “You’re late.” He says walking around you. “Two weeks late.” “I know. I’m sorry. It’s just we didn’t find out about the scholarship until-“ he cuts you off again. “I don’t care why you’re late.“
  3. “Victor!” Came a voice from up the stairs. “You better not be scaring the students again.” A woman said as she came down the stairs. “Hello sweetie.” She said addressing you. “I’m Trudy, the house keeper. And you must be _____ _____. Welcome,” she said motioning to the hall around you, “to Anubis house.”
  4. *Meanwhile* “And, as promised, there will be a practice exam.” Mrs Andrews said as she walked around the classroom. In the front, Patricia and Joy looked and each other and rolled their eyes. In the back Amber was talking on her phone. “But daddy, you have to extend my limit.” She said into the receiver. She paused as she listened to the response from the other end. “But I just saw these really important boots-“ just then Mick walked into the class.
  5. “Gotta go daddy I'm in school.” She hung up the phone. “Hey Mick!” she said enthusiastically. Mick threw his soccer ball and it landed cleanly into the trash can. “Sorry I’m late.” Mick said to Mrs Andrews as he walked to his seat. Next to Amber, Mara looked up at Mick. “Just try not to sweat all over the paper.” Mrs Andrews said as she handed him a test. “Is it possible he got any hotter?” Amber whispered to Mara when Mick sat down.
  6. *Back at the house* “This house was built in 1846,” Victor went on telling you about the history of the house, “But it wasn’t actually named the Anubis house until-” Trudy giggled, interrupting Victor. “Oh Victor she doesn’t care about any of that.” She said looking at you. “She’s a teenager. It’s all about boys.”
