Lavender leaned into her.

Maeve gave a small smile and let her, holding her close.

Lavender gave a small smile back, looking up at her.

They got to the front of the line. ‘Two BLTs, please,’ Maeve said.

The server nodded. "It'll be out in a moment. Do you want a name for your order?"

‘Jeff,’ Maeve said.

"Alright." The server chuckled. "Sounds good."

Maeve nodded and paid, then stepped off to the side with Lavender.

Lavender held her close.

Maeve smiled, letting her. ‘You okay?’

"I think so. I just want to hold you."
