‘You’re cuter,’ Maeve mumbled.

"Oh, that's not cheesy at all." Lavender said in a teasing voice, pulling her closer.

‘Oh, shush,’ Maeve huffed. ‘You said it was cute, anyway.’

"It is." Lavender grinned, kissing her nose. "I like it."

‘Good, it’d be really awkward if you cringed as much as I did.’

Lavender chuckled. "Yeah, that wouldn't be great..."

Maeve kissed her cheek. ‘You’re amazing.’

Lavender blushed, beaming. "You're amazing, too."

Maeve beamed. ‘Thank you~’

"You're very welcome." Lavender grinned.

Maeve giggled.

Lavender held her close. It was beginning to get cold outside, and so was the water.

Maeve shivered, holding her close. ‘Should we get back now?’

"Yeah, of course." Lavender pulled back reluctantly, still holding her hand as she walked to grab her shoes.
