Maeve laughed, nearly tripping over the sand. ‘Hey, wait up!’

"Walk faster!" Lavender giggled.

‘No, it’s just water!’

Lavender rolled her eyes, splashing some water at her.

Maeve giggled. ‘Hey!’ She pulled off her shoes and threw them back onto the sand.

Lavender smirked, kicking up some water up into the sky because she thought it looked satisfying.

Maeve chuckled, watching her.

Lavender eventually looked back at Maeve, walking over and grabbing her hand. "Do you mind if your clothes get soaked?"

‘Nah.’

Lavender grinned. "Cool." She started dragging her where the water was deeper.

Maeve pretended to be reluctant.

Lavender rolled her eyes. "Stop acting so bored!"

‘You’d rather I laugh at you?’

"Better than you acting like you hate this!"

Maeve kissed her cheek and kicked some water at her. ‘Better?
