“Oh, yeah, yeah, Michael, c’mon-“ Evan answered for Liam, standing again and grabbing Michael’s arm. “Uh- talk about what?” Liam asked after a minute, glancing at the ground before back at Jared.

“Uh- Come on! Bruhh, this is so unfair,” Michael whined, following Evan away from the boys. Jared sighed and waited until they were out of earshot before speaking. “I- God, I- I know this might sound really f---in’ weird, but I have to tell you because it’s literally eating me up inside-“ Jared said, exhaling softly. “I think I like you. Not- Not just as a friend, but- But as more than a friend.”

Evan smiled a little, sitting there in silence for a moment as he took in the moment. “I- I think I like you too-“

“Seriously? You’re- You’re not f---ing with me, right?” Jared asked, a smile growing on his face.

“Why would I f- why would I mess with you?” Liam said with a quiet giggle.

“I- I don’t know why, you’re literally too sweet to ever mess with anyone~” Jared said with a lovesick grin, chuckling. He exhaled softly and leaned forward, hugging onto Liam and resting his head on his chest. “f---, I’m like, so relieved you feel the same way-“

Liam smiled, flushing red and holding Jared close. “You’re tellin me- you’ve been acting weird all day since we cuddled last night and I was so scared I ruined our friendship-“

“I just- I mean, it’s not like we haven’t done it before, but- I don’t know, I felt all guilty for it all of a sudden,” Jared said, sighing, “like, it was wrong and I was doing something wrong-“ He sat up, keeping his arms around Liam. “But- Damnit, if falling for you is wrong, then I don’t wanna be f---in’ right~” He chuckled, smiling happily.

Liam grinned, smiling slightly in shock at Jared's words for a moment. “That’s like- the nicest things anybody’s ever said to me.”

“Damn, seriously?” Jared asked, frowning a little. He held Liam close, gently squeezing him for a moment. “Well, there’s more where that came from~” He hummed softly, pressing a kiss on the side of the blonde’s head.

“Wait-“ Liam flushed bright red, taking a deep breath. “Does this mean we’re- are we-“

“I mean, I’m down if you are,” Jared said with a small smile, blushing red. “Honestly, f--- my mom’s opinion. She can disown me all she f---ing wants, I’ll just live with you and your family~”

Liam smiled a little bit, nodding a little. “That’s be awesome, honestly. Not- of course, you getting disowned, but-“

Jared laughed softly, nodding. “So, I- I guess we’re dating now-“ He said, a lovesick grin on his face.

“I guess so,” Liam said with a bright smile, reaching up and running a hand through Jared’s hair. “We don’t have to like, kiss to make it official, right…?”
