Clay coughed a little as the smell filled the room, looking over at George. “Welcome back,” he said with a quiet chuckle, resisting the urge to cover his nose with his blanket.

George skipped into the living room, closing the door behind him. “What’chu watching?” “You smell like s---, George,” Nick said with a chuckle. “You gotta get away before Clay’s mom gets in here-“

“Pfft- Yeah, she’ll be pissed if she finds out you’re high,” Clay said wirh a chuckle, watching George with a small smile.

“Only if you come with me~” George giggled quietly, moving and grabbing Clay’s hand.

“Hm, I think I’ll stay here with my new cuddle buddy~” Clay teased, dramatically wrapping his arms around Nick.

“Noo, don’t be a b----~” George giggled quietly. “C’mon, I don’t wanna be aloneee- Nicky can come too~”

“I don’t think I can cuddle right now, especially with you reeking of weed,” Clay spoke with an awkward chuckle, letting go of Nick. “Sorry, hun-“

George took a deep breath, nodding as he backed away and started to stumble to his room. “Okay- Love you~”

Clay blushed and smiled, waving as George walked off. “Love you, too~”

“Does he do this a lot?” Nick asked, looking over at Clay.

“Come home high? Not often, but occasionally,” Clay said, watching George’s bedroom door for a moment before looking over at Nick.

“Does he come home drunk more often?” Nick asked, locking eyes with Clay.

“Not really?” Clay asked, furrowing his brows a little. “Why- Why do you ask?”

Nick shrugged a little, glancing back at the movie. “I dunno. I don’t understand how this kid gets all this s--- done- he can’t even drive.” He said, chuckling quietly.

Clay chuckled softly, nodding. “I dunno either,” he said, shrugging. He hugged his legs to his chest, staring at the TV.
