"God, he's such a weirdo," Eloise said playfully, chuckling. "So, are you excited for the run throughs? I certainly am!"
Elliot found himself in a stall in the closest bathroom, leaning forward with his head resting on the door. He gripped the collar of his shirt, tugging at it like it was choking him. God, what was that? Why- Why was I acting like that, in front of her nonetheless?! He took a few deep breaths to try and calm himself and stood up straight, rubbing his face. Too many emotions, need to shut it out- He came out of the stall and walked over to the sink, turning on the water. He cupped his hands together and bent closer, splashing a small handful of water on his face. He exhaled shakily, wiping his face with the sleeves of his shirt. No, those- I shouldn't be thinking that. Focus, Elliot. He sighed as he looked up at the mirror, barely registering what he saw before turning away, cringing and walking out of the bathroom. -
Havyn chuckled. She didn’t mind his awkwardness. She found it… endearing. Kinda cute, though she’d never admit it. “I’m very excited.” She said happily. “It’s going to be great!”

"I'm so excited to get to work on choreography! Last year's show had such fun dances, I can't wait for what's in store for this show," Eloise said with a smile, walking back over to their seat. "Ooh and music rehearsals! Ugh, it's gonna be so fun, and the music's gonna be amazing, I bet!" The classroom door opened and Elliot walked back inside, his earbuds in as he stared at his phone. He walked over to his seat, moving his script he left there a few minutes earlier and sitting down.

Havyn nodded enthusiastically. “It’s going to be amazing!” She noticed Elliot and gave a small smile.

Elliot glanced up from his phone, a small smile hesitantly appearing on his face. He inhaled and exhaled before returning to his phone, checking his email. He sighed and put it down, leaning back in his seat. Eloise glanced over at Elliot, sighing. I hope he's okay, not too overwhelmed...

“You ok?” Havyn asked softly, sitting next to him.

Elliot glanced over, taking out an earbud. "What did you say?" He asked, putting his earbuds in their case and pocketing them.

“I was just asking if you’re ok.” Havyn answered.

"Oh, yeah- I'm fine," Elliot replied, nodding shortly. "Just, waiting for that email," he added, chuckling awkwardly as he rubbed his hands together. It's been a few weeks now, maybe- maybe I should email them? Or maybe send them a letter? His right hand started scratching his left, leaving red marks on his knuckles. "I'm not really sure why this is eating away at me, making me on edge..."

Havyn noticed, and grabbed his right hand gently to pull it away from his left hand. "Hey. It's ok." She said softly. She tried not to blush while she held onto his hand.

Elliot flushed bright red and froze, his hand tense in Havyn's. He exhaled shakily, making an effort not to move his hand in the slightest. Why do I want her to stay? "No, it's- it's not okay, because it's not normal," he muttered, keeping his gaze on his lap, but not without sneaking a few glances at Havyn. "At least not for me..."

Havyn didn't say anything for a while. "It's ok." She repeated. "You'll be ok."

Elliot looked up and met eyes with Havyn, a hopeful look on his face. "Maybe," he started, smiling gently. "Maybe you're right. Maybe- It'll be fine, you're- you're right."

Havyn smiled back. "Yeah." She said optimistically. She loosened her grip so that he could let go if he wanted to.

Elliot let out a breath he didn't know he was holding, a small smile appearing on his face. He glanced back down to see their hands tangled together, his face going red again. "Elliot, did you see who got Gaston?!" Eloise shouted from across the classroom, pointing at the flustered boy she stood by. "Marco! Can you believe it?! I thought it would be Harvey, but Marco got it!!" Elliot chuckled softly, his mind wandering to whether or not he should move his hand.
