i went to see finding nemo jr for my school, it was good ^^)
"Uh- yeah, that's- that okay," Karl replied, a nervous expression on his face. "Riiight, I forgot, you don't handle horror movies well," Elodie teased, smirking. "Okay, that's not true, I can watch horror movies just fine," Karl retorted, glaring at his friend. "I'll be just fine." -

Nick chuckled, heading over to the couch and grabbing the TV remote. “It’s okay Karl, we’ll protect you. Two people can fit comfortably on the couch, but there’s also the Lucy chair so you guys can choose what we do.” -
(it was a bit wild bc the boy who was originally supposed to play nemo had to call out sick that day so the girl from the other cast had to come in and substitute, then another girl in the cast had literally thrown up before the show started (she's related to the boy who called out, so not surprised)
it went well tho :))
"I call the chair," Elodie replied, walking over and flopping down in it. Karl walked over to the couch and sat down hugging his legs to his chest. "I'm sure I'll be fine," he replied, chuckling anxiously. -

“Yeah, you’ll be fine,” Nick said with a small chuckle, sitting down next to him and turning the TV on. “So, anything in particular?” -

and it was cool seeing how different the choreo n set design of my school's show was to the local theatre's version)
"I wanna watch that new one about the android girl who was like, built to protect this little girl but goes psycho?" Elodie said, crossing her legs in the seat. "I think it was called Megan? It looked really cool." Karl groaned, leaning back in his seat. "Really, that one?" "Yes, I haven't seen it yet!" -

“Ohh, I've heard good things about Megan,” Nick said with a chuckle, finding it and playing it. “It’s not that bad, I’m pretty sure.” -
"I personally love those types of movies, about robots 'n stuff," Elodie said, shifting her position in her seat slightly. "Ooh, there's also one about a teddy bear that's like, f---in' demonic 'n stuff, and like tells this girl to hurt herself and stuff- it's so crazy." Karl grimaced, resting his chin on his knees. Why'd it have to be horror movies??

"f--- no," Karl muttered, covering his ears for a moment. "That stuff is so freaky, how the hell are you even able to talk about it, let alone want to watch it??" "It's really not that bad, trust me," Elodie said, giggling. "It honestly looks really good, though." She turned back to the movie, watching the beginning scenes.
