Ernie let her. "I love you."

‘Love you too,’ Mahina mumbled. ‘I-I’m sorry for not being about to tell you that stuff with Callisto.’

"It's ok. I just hate that you can't even tell me why." Ernest paused before continuing. "It's not your fault though!"

Mahina sighed softly. ‘I know,’ she mumbled. ‘I wish I could, though.’

"I know you do." Ernie paused. "Maybe we could try and find a loophole..."
