Ernie looked out the window, noticing the sun was barely up.

Mahina.... was still asleep. Shocking.

"Shoot." He whispered, sitting back down on his bed. -
Mahina slept.

Ernest looked over at Mahina, smiling to himself. -
Mahina started twitching a little in her sleep, her breathing changing from long and slow to short and fast. She woke up with a start.

Ernie noticed, and frowned. "What's wrong?"

Mahina sat up, taking a deep breath. She forced a smile. 'Just a nightmare.'

"You sure?" Ernest asked, sitting next to her.

'Yep. It's all good,' Mahina said, nodding.

Ernie wasn't quite sure he believed her, but didn't say anything.

Mahina stood up. 'I'm gonna go make breakfast,' she said.

"Alright." Ernest stood up as well.

Mahina walked into the kitchen, pulling out the bacon and some eggs.

Ernie leaned against the counter. "Want me to help with anything?"
