Mahina chuckled softly and went back to her food. -
Ernie lit up, glad that he made Mahina laugh, eating more of his food as well.

Mahina waited a moment before speaking. 'Do you know why you randomly passed out in the middle of the forest?'

"Didn't we already say something about this?" Ernest asked, wanting to avoid the subject. He didn't want his theory to be right, nor did he want to worry Mahina at all.

'Yeah. But I'm curious. And just making sure you don't need to go to a hospital or something.'

"I probably don't. I mean, I seem to be doing fine." Ernie shrugged.

Mahina frowned slightly. 'Hm. Very well, then,' she said.

Ernest ate more, thankful Mahina didn't press too much.

After a few minutes, Mahina finished her food. She waited for Ernest to finish as well.

Ernie finished a moment after. "So..."

'So, you can help with the washing up,' Mahina said, standing up and putting her plate and fork in the sink

Ernest stood up and did the same.

Mahina grabbed a sponge and cleaned all the grime off her plate, then washed it with soap and set it in the drying rack. She did the same for her fork.

Ernie did the same once Mahina was done. "So..."
