Chester smiled. ‘Yeah.’

Jayden smiled back, looking up. “Looks good, beautiful.”

Chester laughed softly. ‘Not gonna lie, I like wearing your sweaters.’

“Yay!” Jayden laughed.

Chester chuckled, wrapping an arm around his shoulders. ‘Come on, I’m hungry for breakfast.’

“Alright.” Jayden chuckled, opening the door and walking out.

Chester smiled and followed him to the dining hall.

Jayd opened the door once he got to the kitchen. Astrid was already there, looking furious. “I think he knows.” He said quietly.

Chester nodded, expressionless as he sat across from Astrid.

Jayden sat down next to him. Astrid didn’t say anything for a while, which only scared Jayd more.

Chester glanced up at Astrid. ‘You seem mad.’

“Do I?” Astrid said through his gritted teeth.

Chester nodded, resting his chin on the palm of his hand. ‘Yeah,’ he noted.

“Funny. Can’t think of a single reason why.” The sarcasm was so apparent in his voice that Jayden winced.

‘Ah. So you saw the paper?’ Chester said. ‘Yeah, horrible.’
