Jayden looked up at him, grinning.

Chester smiled. He used the hand that wasn’t around Jayden to tuck a blond curl behind his ear.

Jayd grinned, kissing him on the cheek.

Chester blushed. He grinned.

Jayden blushed. They both got to the kitchen after a bit.

Chester sat at the dining table. Maeve appeared in the seat at the head.

Jayd sat next to Chester. "How're you guys?" Maeve asked, looking up at them.

‘We’re good,’ Chester said, raising an eyebrow. It wasn’t like her to ask. ‘You?’

"Great." Maeve said. "Went to Rome for a bit."

Chester chuckled. ‘Right.’

Jayd grinned. "What'd you do?"

‘I saw the leaning tower of pizza,’ Maeve said. She pronounced it like the food. ‘But it wasn’t actually pizza, just stone…’

Jayden laughed. "It's the leaning tower of pisa you weirdo."

‘Pfft, it’s definitely the leaning tower of pizza,’ Maeve said.

Jayd shrugged. "It is in Italy, so it might be." He chuckled. "This whole time everyone's been saying it wrong and it turns out it's the leaning tower of pizza."
