'What do you mean?' Chester asked.

"They changed color." Jayden said, motioning to the blood stained on his finger. "Like this color."

'Oh,' Chester said. 'Yeah, they do that sometimes,' he said quietly.

"It was cool." Jayd said, wanting to make Chester happier. He really did think it was cool now that he thought about it. It was also terrifying, but that was a minor issue. "But... Why do they do that?"

'Er.. I'm not sure, if I'm being honest,' Chester said with a shrug on his shoulders. 'It just happens.'

"Oh. Well that makes it extra cool I suppose." Jayden told him with a small smile.

Chester chuckled. 'Thanks, I guess.'

Jayd gave a full smile. "Anyways.... I don't see any animals, shapeshifting ones or normal."

'Shall we head back?' Chester asked.

"Shall?" Jayden teased, nodding.

Chester rolled his eyes. 'C'mon,' he said.

Jayd followed Chester back to the castle, firing a couple arrows randomly and picking them up. -
Chester walked through the forest, back where they'd come from. It all looked the same but Chester knew his way around.

"So... When do you want to sign the treaty?"

Chester raised an eyebrow. 'Didn't I tell you about an hour ago?' he questioned. He was pretty sure he did. 'At the end of the month.'
