After a few minutes, Chester pulled Jayden closer. ‘We should check on Maeve.’

Jayden nodded. "Definitely."

Chester sat up, letting go of him.

Jayden followed him, opening the door for him.

Chester gave a weak smile and walked out.

Chester’s hand slipped into Jayden’s.

Jayden gave a small smile. They got to Maeves' door.

Chester knocked on it before standing back.
