Chester pulled away and stood up, taking off his tie and blazer and chucking them on the end of his bed.

Jayden stayed sitting, sighing softly. He really was an idiot, making Chester feel so low about himself.

Chester morphed into a phoenix and perched on his chair.

Jayd smiled, watching him.

Chester watched him, wings folding against his sides.

Jayden waved.

Chester chirped.

Jayd grinned.

Chester settled on the chair. He didn’t want to scare Jayden by coming too close.

Jayden let him, laying down.

Jayden blew him a kiss.

Chester’s feathers turned a dark shade of red.
