Chester bapped the roll aggressively.

"You promised to eat."

Chester turned around in Jayden’s lap, back to him.

Jayden offered the roll to him again. "Chester. Eat." He said softly, but sternly.

Chester’s tail flicked Jayden’s nose.

"I'm serious, Chester. Please."

Chester turned around and looked up at Jayden.

Jayd sighed, patting his head.

Chester leaned into his touch, huff-quacking.

"Chester. You've barely eaten anything today."

Chester stubbornly sat down.

Jayd offered him the roll again.

Chester reluctantly took the roll in his paws and nibbled it.

Jayden let him, smiling softly and eating his own food.

Chester leaned his back against Jayden’s body, nibbling his roll.
