"It's all good." Jayden shrugged. "I can see how you assumed all those things."

Chester looked down at Jayden was a small smile. He kissed the side of his boyfriend’s head.

Jayden beamed, turning his attention to his boyfriend for a moment before offering Cleverly his hand to shake. "How about we put all that stuff behind us?" He offered hopefully.

A look of surprise crossed Cleverly’s face. He looked down at Jayden’s hand before giving a small smile and shaking it.

Jayden gave a full smile, shaking it left to right instead of up and down, chuckling.

Cleverly looked thoroughly confused and slightly traumatised. He pulled back his hand with a nervous smile before turning away. Chester leaned his head on Jayden’s shoulder. ‘You’re so weird.’

Jayd laughed at his reaction before leaning into Chester. "Obviously."

Chester kissed his jaw, wrapping an arm around his waist. ‘But you’re also f---ing amazing.’

Jayden smiled. "I love you." He murmured happily.

‘I love you too, darling,’ Chester murmured, kissing the corner of his mouth. His eyes went red for a brief moment, but returned to their normal colour.

Jayd noticed them turn red and shut his eyes hard, not wanting to pull away, but not wanting to be controlled either.

Chester frowned. He put his hand under Jayden’s chin and moved his slightly so he could fully see his boyfriend’s face. ‘What’s wrong, sweetheart?’

"Eyes went red." Jayden said quietly.

Chester’s face paled slightly. He looked around to make sure nobody had been looking. ‘Are you okay? Look at me, please,’ he said quietly, but his eyes went red again.

Jayd opened one of his eyes cautiously, looking at Chester to make sure his eyes weren't red still, which was the wrong move. He opened both eyes quickly and looked at Chester, not having a choice.
