"I'd get to meet criminals!" Eli said excitedly.

'Oh god-' Callum mumbled. 'No! We're not saying hi to murderers!'

"But why not?" Eli asked, sounding like a little kid whining about not having candy for dinner.

'Because they'll kill us!'

Eli sighed. "That's assuming they don't like us. Besides. that'd be a fun way to die."

'A fun. Way. To die. Really?'

"I can picture the headlines already: Eli and Callum, murdered by a murderer because one of them wanted to learn the techniques."

'And that's a good thing?!'

"I'm not saying it's good, I'm saying it's funny! Besides, there are worse ways to go out."
(I've said it before and I'll say it again-Eli is just my intrusive thoughts.) -

"Dying in your sleep or just because you're old."

'I reckon dying because I'm old is a way better way to go out. And if I die in my sleep at least it's peaceful and I'm not being STABBED.'
