"He um... He did for a bit. To try and meet people." Eli said, scratching the back of their head. "And he bumped into me."

'Right,' Claudia said.

"And he kinda helped me from being bullied by this one kid." Eli said, remembering the whole thing. "And then we sat in lunch together and started talking."

Callum's father smiled.

"And then school ended, and he took me to the Land of the Freaks." Eli said with a grin. "Which is the best place ever."

Callum smiled. 'No argument there,' he said.

Eli nodded. "Did I miss anything important?" They asked Callum.

Callum shook his head. 'No. That about sums it up.'

"Alright, cool." Eli said with a grin. "So that was basically how we met."

Claudia smiled. 'That's good.'

Eli nodded. "And we're beeeeest friends now." They said with a grin.

Callum chuckled. 'The bestest,' he agreed.

Claudia smiled. "Well that's good. I'm glad Callum had someone to talk to."
Eli shrugged. "For the past week I guess." -
(I'm so sorry. I keep forgetting to try and think of something to write)
'Still,' Claudia shrugged. -

Eli smiled. "So... Are we gonna brainstorm some other ways to get out of here?" They asked, eating more of their food.
