Callum laughed once, a shouted 'ha!'.

"What's so funny?!" James snapped, reaching for Callum again.

Callum stepped backwards, smirking. 'My "little freak friend" just kicked you! You looked like you were in a lot of pain!'

Eli stuck their tongue out at James. "How does it feel?" They asked, shoving James again, which only made him even more infuriated.

James spat at their feet and walked away, or deciding it wasn't worth the fight.

Eli grinned triumphantly. "Good job your highness." They said, wiping their shoes off.

Callum chuckled. 'You too, court jester.'

The bus finally pulled up and Eli grabbed Callum's wrist as they got in.

Callum followed them in the bus, looking for two free seats.

Eli found an empty row in the middle area, and quickly scooted to the window seat.

Callum sat beside him.

Eli stared out the window as the bus started moving, not sure what to say.

Callum leaned back. 'That was craaazyyyy.'

"I know! He was totally gonna beat you up!"
(Gotta go to bed, I'll be back tomorrow!) -
