Morrigan screamed too, and they landed on dirt. Morrigan was sprawled on the ground and made a groaning sound. -
Geistaz lay down on the ground, frowning.

'What the hell was that?' Morrigan said in a strained voice.

"Who the hell is supposed to know?" Geistaz said, now feeling dizzy.

Morrigan rubbed her head. 'Good point.'

Geistaz stood up, his legs feeling wobbly. "N-need a hand?" He said, holding his hand out to Morrigan.

Morrigan rolled onto her back and reached up to take hand, feeling lightheaded.

Geistaz held Morrigan's hand, so that she could get up.

Morrigan forced herself into a standing position and rubbed the side of her head with her free hand.

Geistaz didn't let go for a few seconds. "You okay?" he said.

'Yeah,' Morrigan said, not letting go of his hand. 'Are you?'

"Yeah." Geistaz said, still not letting go. He smiled, but he looked around and that smile shrank.

Morrigan looked up. The opening had closed, but she could see they were far deep. 'Are we in a hole?'

"I think."

'That's not good.'
