Math finally ended, and Nikolai walked over to where the visual arts classroom was to wait for Nat.

Nat stayed back late to finish her sketch, but then she realised the home bell had rang and she shoved her things into her bag and left.

Nik followed Natsuki as they both left the school. "Do you ride the bus, or do you walk?"

'Walk. My house isn't too far away.'

"Alright." Nik said with a grin. "Can you hang out today?"

Nat smiled. 'Yes.'

"Yes!" Nikolai cheered happily.

Nat chuckled. 'Your house or mine?'

Nik shrugged. "Can we go to yours?"

She nodded. 'Alright.' She took his hand and started leading him out of the school grounds and down the street.

Nikolai blushed as he followed her.

Nat walked in silence, but she didn't need to speak. She had a small smile on her lips and was blushing slightly.

Nik smiled as he kept following, not saying anything.

They got to her house after a few minutes. Nat stood outside it, not opening the door. 'Terry and Susan are probably going to be weird about me bringing home a boy,' she said quietly.

"Alright, I'll try not to be too romantic." Nikolai joked.
