Nat put her phone back on the bedside table and got dressed, then put her phone in her pocket and walked downstairs.

Terry noticed Nat walking downstairs as he made pancakes, and waved.

Nat gave a sheepish wave.

"What toppings do you want on your pancakes?" Terry asked. "I've got strawberries, syrup, peanut butter and chocolate chips."

Nat shrugged and sat down at the dinner table.

Terry responded by setting the options next to Nat. "There, pick as many as you want."

Nat nodded with a small smile.

Terry flipped a few more pancakes before setting two of them on a plate and giving it to Natsuki.
