'Of course,' Anne said, scooping up the pieces and the board and returning them to her cupboard. 'What else would you like to do?'

"Tig?" She suggested hoping Anne would know what it was.

'Tig?' Anne asked. 'What's tig?'

(basically it's a different word for tag but I thought like a street urchin might use it)
"It's a running game, someone is "Tig" and you chase after them and if you tap them they are then "it" -
(ohhhh right)
'Alright,' Anne said, nodding, though not quite understanding. 'We can play outside?' -
"If you want" she shrugged, smiling.

'We should probably go outside, if it involves running,' Anne said, heading to the door and reaching for her coat.

"Sure" Lily shrugged following Anne to the door before hesitating. "You do want to don't you? We could find something else if you didn't want to?!" Lily suggested.

Anne laughed. 'If I didn't want to I would've said. Do you still want to?' she asked, pulling on her coat.

"Of course!" Lily smiled running out of your house. "I'll be Tig"

When they left through the bakery door, they walked down the concrete footpath.

"Where are we going to play it, the park?" Lily asked following Anne.

'Yes,' Anne answered, looking left and right to check for carts, then walking as fast as she could in a full-length dress to the other side.

Lily jogged after Anne, just escaping a cart as it raged forwards. "That was close" she chuckled. Once they'd reached the park Lily turned to Anne. "I'll give you a ten second headstart then I'll come running after you, fair?"
