Lovely stared at him. Then she smiled. She giggled. Then she laughed loudly. “You mean this cat?” She gasped for air, holding up Milque.

Abyss froze and then relaxed, his wings visibly drooping "uh, yeah.

Lovely laughed until her cheeks turned pink. “Well thanks for TRYING to find ‘em. I appreciate it.” Lovely looked at him with a shy smile.

Abyss shuffled his wings nervously "your welcome, I guess" he said anxiously

Lovely stared, not wanting to leave but not knowing what to say. “So...”

Abyss fidgeted a little before he asked "wana see someplace cool?

“Alright!” Lovely answered.

Abyss turned and started leading her into the forest nearby, humming quietly

Lovely followed, gripping onto Milque’s leash as tightly as she could.

Abyss led her to a massive fallen log that was hollowed out inside. He climbed inside, and it appeared that he had made a little hide out of some sort in the log

“This is nice. Are we still even in Settlebrook, do you think?”

“Wow...cool!”

Abyss shrugged at her question, sitting down in a nest of shed feathers and moss

“I’m thinking about going to somewhere out of the small town, but...” she shrugged and wiped off her muddy glove.

“I’m positive this is the closest I’ll get.”
