"Fine." Mary thought, maybe to get the thrown... but that wouldn't work. She knew something would happen, so she decided to be good. -

"Water." Mary looked back at the ground -

Eric nodded, walking out for a minute and then returning with a glass of crystal clear water. "Here," he said to Mary, handing her the glass. -

Mary took the glass taking a sip. "Thank you" She said politely. -
