Julian walked down the sidewalk in the park. He liked doing things like this. Just small things with no chaos in them.
He stopped when he saw something. Was that tree...rippling? He saw something fall out of the ripple and the...whatever the ripple thing was disappeared.
Wanda recited a magical spell and pointed it at the book. She was making a teleportation device so that she could get into another world.
After reciting the words, she pointed her wand at the book and it made a popping sound. She walked over to it cautiously and peered down at it.
Deciding it was safe, Wanda tapped the book three times. She found herself looking at stars, oh wait, that isn’t right. She was looking at the sky. The spell didn’t work.
She looked at the book and her eye’s widened when she saw it was nowhere in sight.
Julian walked over to what had fallen out. It was a book? It was strangely titled. He picked it up and looked around, wondering if anyone else had seen what had happened, but no one else was around. He tapped it thrice with his thumb in thought.
The book starting glowing and slowly pulled Julian inside, making it hard to escape.
Meanwhile, Wanda was looking up how to do a location spell. Her magic wasn’t what you would call great, but it sometimes did her a favor. It had saved her from trolls before.
What on earth?? Julian gave a yell as he was being slowly sucked into the book. First his arms, then his shoulders... He tried to pull back but he couldn't
Wanda fell to the ground as she felt someone fall on top of her. They quickly rolled off, but she was furious. “How dare you do that to me?! I’m guessing it was that damn traffic up there. The fairies are always knocking people to the ground, they’re so rude!” Wanda exclaimed, rambling on and on about fairies.
“Rockford? Never heard of it. Right now your in the town of WitchLand. As you can see, I’m a witch. Just not a very experienced one.” Wanda said. She gave her cat a treat.
"I've never heard of MagicVille or WitchLand or anything like that..." Julian said. He ran his fingers through his hair. "I have to be dreaming all this."
