"Actually probably not," Callyn said. "They'll probably notice that..." she swallowed, "that the girl he confessed to was now on stage with him."

"Maybe wear a disguise? They can't notice if you wear one." he said.

"Turner you know I don't like lying," she said.

"But they'll be lying about you. They already are." he pointed out.

"I don't care, Turner," Callyn said. "Let that be on their own consciences, but I won't lie just to sing with one of my best friends."

"You consider me a best friend?" he said with interest.

She nodded. "'Course I do."

"Is that because you have no friends?"

She slowly nodded with a bittersweet smile. She counted Mamita's family as her own family, not as friends. "Anyway, I feel like even if I did," she said, "You'd still be my best friend."

"I'd better be." he mumbled. Turner was a bit clingy to Callyn since he had never had a real friend before. People just wanted him for his fame, and he was scared that Callyn wanted the same.

Callyn couldn't help but let out a large yawn.

"You seem tired." he noted.

She nodded.

"Shall I take you home?" he asked.
