"Bite it then!" Boulderfoot said, scrambling down.

"ITS HEAD IS ALL THE WAY OVER THERE." She mewed in exasperation.

The bird sqwaucked angrily, trying to pierce Sproutgrowth with its sharp beak. Boulderfoot held the beak shut and killed the bird.

"Yay. Very large bird! How do we drag this thing back..."
Bird is twice their sizes. -
Boulderfoot bit its neck and began to painstakingly drag it.

She lifted a wing and helped.

They eventually made it back to camp, and the kits swarmed it in amazement.

She dropped the wing and spat feathers out of her mouth. “God that thing was heavy.”

Boulderfoot did the same, using his paws to wipe down off of his tongue. "Blech! And feathery."

“At least it’ll feed half the clan, or more.” She said.

"All the elders, at least," Boulderfoot said with a nod. "I think we deserve a bite to eat after all that, don't you?"

“Yeah, let’s go see what’s on the prey pile.” She said.

Boulderfoot bounded over and picked out a nice big rabbit. "There's a frog on the prey pile if you want it," he teased.

"ABSOLUTELY NOT." She mewed.

Boulderfoot laughed, purring in amusement. "Here, you can share this rabbit with me if you'd like."
