"But...what if they catch you?" Mocha said, crossing her arms to keep her hands from trembling. Her nerves were rattling around and the thought of the police made her jumpy.
"We're not going i-inside are we?" Morty asked Amilia anxiously. "Yes, we are!" She was already pulling him in. While she was focused on Dolion, Morty noticed two more Stauber songs talking by a table. He was too anxious too appraoch though.
Kai reached the sidewalk, back from the forest was wondering through and into the real world.
"then I'll be sent back ta mom, it's no big deal. Besides if I stay it'll be even easier fer me ta get caught." Ian said looking around. As a thing no one here had a real mother unless that's what they called their artist, but Ian was adopted by another stauber song
Just as Amilia was about to greet Dolion, Morty pulled on her arm and whispered shyly to her, "Hey, it's some m-more Stauber songs," and motioned discretely to Mocha and Ian.
Ian turned left and started walking down the street, intending to do absolutely nothing productive all day.
"Hm?" Amilia asked, barely paying attention to Morty. "Nevermind..." Morty whispered quietly, seeing that one of them was already on their way out. It's not like he would have the guts to introduce himself anyways.
Kai pulled out some headphones, but was disappointed (but not surprised) to find out that they were broken. Probably done after his latest impulsive jump into a lake.
Morty waved back at Ian anxiously. "Who are you waving at..." Amilia asks, but she trails off when she sees Ian. Morty felt dread welling up in him. She had that expression again. "Oh no, Amilia-" he said, but she shushed him. "Morty I think I'm in love," she said. Morty facepalmed.
Ian put his headphones on anyway; to null the sounds of the outside just a little bit.
Ian started running down the street the minute he left the shop. He could see all the other songs looking at him with disdain and it made him laugh. It was hilarious to him how things like this worked, and then he stopped, he stopped everything. He knew he wasn't supposed to, his smile faltered and almost instinctively he shattered the window to his left with his fist. "Keep smiling Ian." He reminded himself in a singsong voice
Mocha looked around, her face warming up as she noticed that the cafe was now staring at her haughtily. She straightened out her hair in embarrassment and swept upstairs.
