Shatter circled the mountain, searching for threats and destroying anything he found before heading back to the temple

Gambler was limping and pants , tears streamed down his face.

Shatter saw him and roared sorrowfully as he landed hard, nearly falling forward before regaining his balance

"my sweet shatter.." Gambler limped to shatter and fell in frount of him. "i-im sick.." he coughed , "really sick.." Gambler sniffled.

Shatter made a mournful sound and lowered his head "how can we help? Zu'u nis saan hi"

Gambler needed to lay down, feeling light headed. "i n-need to lay down.." he huffed. " you can help by s-staying and caring for me.."

Shatter nodded and then curled up around him protectivly, looking up at the crystal array. The decay had stopped, but now there was only a small handfull of crystals rather then the few thousand there had been before

Gambler pulled a mattress to him and a pillow, laying next to him. Gambler layed on the bed, smiled softy, soon he drifted to bed.

Shatter turned his head to watch him, looking tired but refusing to sleep

Gambler snored lightly and was asleep.

Shatter smiled as he listened to him and set his head down

Gambler soon woke up and took off his vest becoming shirtless , then heading back to sleep.

Shatter stared at him curiously

Gambler was sleeping peacefully but wakes up from a nightmare, he began shaking.

Shatter nudged his side, cooing softly
