Meanwhile, Joey and Courtney were sitting on the couch in the living room. Five awkrawdly silent minutes went by before Courtney spoke. "I am going to a carnival on Tuesday... If you want to go." Courtney offered shyly. Joey instantly brightened up and smiled a charming smile. It took all his strength to contain his excitement and keep his cool. "Of course I would! But... I'll have to ask Peter and Camila." He told her. "That would be great!" She cheered excitedly, -
"You should put your shirt back on too." Camila told him and walked off to the living room. She flopped on the couch and studied the two kids, "What's up?" She asked them.

Peter chuckled and pulled his shirt on before entering the living room.
"Joey was about to kiss me." Courtney lied with a grin. "No I wasn't!" Joey blurted, blushing in embarrassment. "So you don't want to kiss me?" Courtney asked, pouting teasingly. "No... That's not what I meant... I-" Joey stumbled. "So you do want to kiss me." Courtney teased with a grin. "I... Uh... well... I... Ugh...." Joey stuttered, blushing brightly as he stared at the door. Courtney chuckled and kissed him on the cheek. She was good at messing with people.
Joey was beginning to wonder if this girl would be his death. On second thought, Camila would kill him before Courtney. On third thought, his mom was a psycho as well. As was his father's mother... Was it something in their family's genetics on the male side that made them fall for psychopaths? -

Peter whispered something in Joeys ear and Joey frowned, pushing him to the ground. "Perv." Joey muttered. -
Camila shook her head as Peter fell to the ground, then she searched for her phone in her pocket, looking at the time. Immediately she received a notification that left her with wide eyes. "Uh, I'm bored guys. I'm just gonna go upstairs and...um," she stuttered, "sleep." She told them and left to her room.

Peter watched her leave before quietly following her. Curiousity getting the best of him.

Camila dialed a number on her phone and held it up to her ear. "What?" She said on the phone as she walked into her room and slammed her door shut.

Peter listened to her through the door.

"I'm not gonna let you leave like that." Camila said and sat down on her bed.
"I know." She sighed.
"But...in your condition.."
"Mom."
"Why are you doing this?"
Camila took a deep, sharp breath and shut her eyes, "Okay. Take care of yourself mom."
"I'm serious. Take your medicines too. Dont overwork yourself."
She giggled, "Alright, alright, I'll hang up now. Byeeee~" she said and hung up, staring into space, before laying her back, on the bed. -
"Who was that?" Peter asked, opening the door.

Camila sprung up from the bed on hearing Peter's voice, "Where you eavesdropping?!" She whisper-shouted in shock, before folding her hands, "That's not a nice thing to do." Then she remembered eavesdropping on Peter and Joeys conversation too. But he didn't know about that so she had nothing to worry about.

"Oh, sorry my Angel. I will give to the poor later to make up for my sins." He told her with a grin, sitting beside her on the bed and wrapping an arm around her.

Camila chuckled and rolled her eyes, "Whatever you say."
