The fox growled and snapped at her before ancient jumped on its head and held on for dear life

*leaps on the fox, teeth grasping its scruff, scratching its pelt and panting at the kit that she might be damaging*

The fox yelped in pain and shook them off before running away

*cries in pain as I fall on my side* "My kit!" *Curls around my belly*

Ancient looked at her in concern, his left hind leg lifted "are you ok?

"Yes... By the way, who are you?"

He carefully sat down, wincing slightly "I'm called ancient

"Oh... I should get to Moonshine, my medicine cat. I also have other kits to take care of." *stands up wobbly and looks at you*

Ancient frowned slightly

"Are you okay?" *looks at the young cat as blood drips off of my ear*

"Follow me." *rests tail on your shoulder as I lead you to a bramble wall.*
