I have always prided myself on being a level headed ghost hunter. I am certified by the state, I have nearly 2 years of experience under my belt, I use solid evidence to support myself, and I discredit discreditable evidence.
Tonight, I had the opportunity to meet up with Chris and Amy. The girls of TAPS. TAPS has always been a very level headed, calm team. I enjoyed spending the night with them. We did an investigation together and all was going well until we started a QnA session. They started off by joking about one of the GHI members for being British, and believing in fairies. This is all fun and light hearted until later they started discussing how they believed being a ghost is a punishment by God.
How can they discredit one mans fairytales and then claim their own? This is the same kind of hypocritisism that I see all throughout religion. It's sad to say the least.
I dont know. All in all they were wonderful people and I enjoyed them being here to investigate with us. But that part bothered me. And I needed to vent. -

Actually there is a ghost in my woods according to my brother. It's kind of creepy actually.

i heard my brother once say that ghosts are demons in disguise so that they look more like humans so that they get closer to humans to posses them

The human body naturally produces an electrical field around and through itself. Everyones field is different. There are no two that are alike and the fields themselves can also change based on emotion and personality changes. There are elements skattered everywhere that can absorb energy. Any form of metal, most forms of wood, and several different obscure things can all absorb these fields. (this is all scientifically proven). Although no research has been done on the subject by accredited professionals, I think that the "ghosts" we see are the energy output being radiated by these objects.
This can explain residual and self aware hauntings. Residual hauntings are the replay of either an event that was done constantly, or one that was so tramatic to the victom that the energy imbedded itself faster.
Self aware hauntings can simply be a more complete energy residue. Adding personality(which is a more detailed portion of the energy field) to physical presence(which is more easily copied.) -
