Well, what would you think. Some people will have no one, no women will give birth to reproduce and the gays will go to a straight person and laugh in their face...

Mall things that would happen:
1) the human race would eventually die out because there would be no women to reproduce
2) all men would go insane because they need women in their lives
3) all men would probably become gay because there would be no women to satisfy their hunger for sex
4) all men happily in a relationship with a female would be greiving over their loss

An initial shock wave of panic will leave many countries open for attack, and the more vicious will strike. It will all spiral out of control until they turn to nuclear weaponry to finish the war they were to emaciated to finish, and in the end, half of the remaining population will have died in the clouds of ash and sulfur, leaving nothing but suffocating air for the remnants of humankind to choke on. And though they may pray, no one will save them from the wave of destruction that will overtake them and fill their final moments with burning agony and the laughs of sadistic maniacs. Killers will let loose their most horrible, demented wishes upon the already confused and weakened populace, and terror will reign until the inevitable end- when the world will is blown to pieces in a mist of flame and black rain and all that is alive withers away and dies.
And where will I be? All around you, choking you, and laughing quite hard as I do. -

heartless NewbieThe human race would become much more aggressive. And although a lot of people would die, our main priority would be research into either cloning, or test tube babies. Science would sky rocket in that field. And eventually we would be able to isolate the mutation that causes the Y chromosome, and we would deny it. Thus synthesizing the first woman again. Life would be saved as we know it, and with a large advance in the field of science.
I don't want that world. It's not because of the science. Believe me, I like scientific advancement. But because the world is so barbaric already. Alot of people would die. Countries would blame each other and wars would spike. Society would degenerate into almost a tribal state. Anyone deemed too weak would be killed. And even after they did successfully recreate a woman, men are stupid. They'd probably take it as an excuse to mess with her genetic make up even more to suit their wants. She would have all the reproductive capabilities, but she wouldn't be the same.
And remember that this is all after we move past the shock of female disappearances. I would personally grieve for a very long time. In some ways I prefer women to men. They balance each other. And when that balance is eliminated, you have chaos. -
